First Day of School...

I know I am a bit behind on this post. I won't try and give any excuses. I am just happy to finally be able to post these pictures of my kids. I'm sure your finally happy to see them as well.

BRAYDEN - 1st Grade
On Brayden's lunch box you could push a button and it would say "BooYaKasha!" However, it literally stopped working right after taking this picture. Really? The first day of school it had to stop working. I felt bad, but at the same time happy. He had played it several times, okay many times, since we bought it weeks before and it was a bit annoying. Shhh! Don't tell him I said that. I wasn't in any hurry to return it for another and so we kept it. He has forgotten all about it.

No tears this year for mommy, but I was sad to see them go back.

Labor Day...

We got to enjoy another Labor Day at the Struss' cabin in Greenwood Lake, New York. Our day was spent with Dave, Ruth Ann, Michele, MJ, the Smith family, Aunt Susie and Sammy. Uncle John was sick and stayed home with Stephen.

The kids had a blast riding the boat and torpedo, fishing, swimming and just being together. We enjoyed hanging out with everyone and the beautiful setting on this last day of summer.

The Three Amigos testing the waters.
The crew on the boat and torpedo.

After Brayden's fall this summer in North Carolina he has been a little leery of going in the water when he can't see the bottom. He told me several times before we got there that he was not going to be riding the torpedo. I was proud of him that he decided to give it a try. It was a short ride for him, but he did it. Conquering his fears!

Motorcycle Ride with FaFa...

Brayden, Sammy and I were over at Grandma's swimming pool back in September when FaFa and Grandma came back home from one of their bike rides. Brayden said he wanted to go for a ride on it one day and FaFa said "how about today?" with his parents approval of course.

We all got a chance to ride. For the boys it was a short ride just right next door to the church parking lot and down the street and back. I got to go a bit further down a couple more streets. Whoa! Not sure I could do it for a long drive, have to get used to being so open on the road. It was fun to give it a try though.

Getting safely on the bike.

Sarah - This & That

My girl. It seems like I don't take as many pictures of Sarah these days and I am not giving her as many blog posts as her brother. She is either off doing something and I am not with her or if I am with her it would be to embarrassing for her for me to take a picture. Most of my pictures these days come from ones she has taken with her phone unless it is just us as a family and even with those she has to see it to make sure she looks okay. : ) I think she always looks beautiful no matter how you take the picture or where your at.
