8th Grade Graduation...

The first and last day of school we always take a picture by our front door.  This year it is the last day of 1st grade for Brayden.

For Sarah it would be the last day of 8th grade and final day she would attend Haskell Elementary school as a student.

Graduation was in the evening was an hour long ceremony. We were allowed 5 tickets and because neither grandparents could attend Aunt Susie and Cayla were the next best thing.

Sarah's class had been having graduation practice for a couple of weeks, so they were all ready for it. During the evening Sarah received the "Citizenship" award. A girl and boy student were selected by the Haskell School teachers for their demonstration of citizenship within the school. Unfortunately, a baby was crying during the whole presentation and we didn't get to hear everything about the award, but we know she won it and her teachers thought enough of her to select her. We were so proud!
Letting out the nervousness. : )
I love this shot of Mrs. Morton. She was so excited for her students.
Our beautiful graduate.
Receiving the "Citizenship" award. It was a sweet surprise for her and us.

Spencer Hunt was the valedictorian. He will be also going to PCTI and is a part of the Theater shop Sarah will be in. Spencer did a wonderful job on his speech.

Two of her absolute favorite teachers the last 2 years of school were Mrs. Morton and Mr. Murray. They both happen to be math teachers. Math is a subject that Sarah had struggled with a little bit and both of them cheered her on and helped her in many ways. They both were on the 8th grade class trip and she has fun memories of hanging with them at Dorney Park.

When you get Sarah, Cayla and Brayden get together and they ask me to take pictures of them funny shots just seem to happen. I love them!

I don't know what they are doing here.
