Music to our ears...

Sarah and Brayden both had special events at school where they celebrated Christmas through singing.

Sarah and approximately 40 other students from her school, 6th through 8th graders, hopped on the bus and headed to a local mall to sing for all the shoppers. They sounded great.

They spent about 30 minutes singing different Christmas songs.
Sarah's right in the center of the picture.
Of course Sarah had some groupies who came to hear her sing. Me, her biggest fan is behind the camera taking all the shots and then these fans...
FaFa, Grandma, cousin Stephen and Sammy, Daddy, Aunt Susie and Aunt Melissa.
They also had opportunity to go to a local retirement community and nursing home to share Christmas with them.

Brayden got to sing Frosty the Snowman and Drummer boy with his class for their Christmas special. His teacher told me that while they were practicing Brayden was set to play Frosty while they sang, but he ended up telling her that he really didn't want to do it. While were watching the video of them singing Frosty I asked him while he didn't want to play Frosty. He told me that when they put the Frosty clothes on him he felt to "fancy" and that he was getting "fatter". Ha! Ha!

They wore gloves and scarves to sing Frosty and then had little drums for Drummer Boy.
At the end of the performance Brayden's class along with two of the other preschool classes put on the Nativity story. It was very cute. Brayden was a shepherd. Definitely not a fancy role or a fat one. Perfect for him.
Brayden is the fourth shepherd in from the left.
