Turning 44...

My 44th birthday was pretty low key and celebrating it all seemed to involve food.

On my actual birthday I was filling in for one of the girls in our church office while she was on vacation for a week and a half, so I spent my day working. Jason and the kids came and had lunch with me as that evening Jason and Brayden were going with our youth group to Mega Sports Camp, a favorite activity for Brayden. More on that activity in another post. I took advantage of the free evening and got together with some of my friends, Michele and Melissa, to celebrate my birthday. We went to Grand Luxe for dinner where I got one of my favorite dishes, pot roast cheese fries. It was a fun evening hanging out with these girls and enjoying time together.
I guess the waiter thought we wanted a picture of the ENTIRE restaurant.
To get up close we had to take it ourselves.
Pot roast, cheese and fries, so good!

The week after my birthday we went out as a family to Cheesecake Factory. Of course we had to get cheesecake.
Jay and I - Reese Peanut Butter Cheesecake
Sarah and Brayden - Oreo Cookie Cheesecake
