Black Friday Shoppers...

This year Sarah wanted the experience of being able to go out on "Black Friday" and shop. I love shopping on Black Friday for amazing deals, but from the comfort of my couch on my computer after I have enjoyed sleeping in. I can't say when Sarah asked to go shopping that I was eagerly ready to take her on her first Black Friday shopping experience.

However, Aunt Susie is a different story. Susie loves going shopping on Black Friday, she likes getting a lot of shopping done in one day with good deals. After Sarah talked with Susie, they made a plan for Sarah to spend the night at their house and join Susie this year for the experience.

They started early by going out on Thursday evening around 7:00 p.m. after all our activities at the James family were over. Their stops for the evening were Michael's, Kohl's and Target. They got back to Aunt Susie's house around 10:30 p.m. with a plan to get up early the next morning to hit the stores again.

However, cousin Stephen had a rough night and so the girls decided to sleep in a bit and head out around 10 a.m. after a fueling french toast breakfast.

Next stops were two different Toys 'R Us and Paramus Park Mall.
Enjoying some dancing in the Old Navy dressing room.
After waiting in line for an hour at Old Navy, Sarah laid down for a nap.
Stopping to refuel at Taco Bell.

I enjoyed being kept posted with these different pics and status of their shopping adventure.  Sarah really enjoyed her time shopping with Aunt Susie. She picked out some Christmas decorations for her room while they were out and was excited to put them up.

Sarah would still like to have the experience of going out early, early in the morning. Maybe next year.
