PaPa & MeMe...

PaPa and MeMe came to celebrate Christmas with us for a few days.

Their arrival always comes the first weekend in December as that is when our church typically has the kids Christmas musical and in the past they always wanted to see Sarah in it and now this year Brayden gets a turn. It is always a fun couple of days and kicks off our Christmas activities.
Thankful I had a tripod to take our picture.
Not thankful that I got cut off, but guess that is part of the silliness.

We take time to exchange our gifts with them. My mom is so thoughtful in her gift giving. I always love to see the little extra gifts she gives, that weren't on our wish list.
Candy Cane glasses.
Scarf Holder.
The bible in graphic novel form. Perfect for this little bear.
Sarah gets an Etsy gift card to buy something on her "favorites" list.
NO WAY!!!!
A scarf for the scarf holder.
Sarah loves her Neff hat and wears it all the time.

The Spider-Man shooter was a highlight gift, especially when I set a competition to see who could shoot and load it the fastest and knock down the target.

We also like to make a cookie each year with MeMe. This year when I saw Pioneer Woman's Pretzel Turtles I knew that is what we would make. Everyone liked them. A little different way to make turtles.

In between gifts and cookies were a few handstands. Sarah is constantly doing handstands at home. Does every 12 year old girl do these at home?

Monday we went to see Disney's Frozen, which was really cute. Olaf the snowman was our favorite character.

The theatre had a display for the Lego movie coming out in February, which we are SUPER excited about.
Dinner at Grand Luxe.

On Tuesday and Wednesday PaPa & MeMe went to see my Grandma in Boston.
Love this picture.
A new jacket for Christmas.

We got to spend Wednesday evening with them and then they headed back to warm and sunny Florida early Thursday morning. Loved our time. Loved the memories.

Highlights from Brayden's musical coming next...
